Resins
We formulate for every aspect of camper and truck top manufacturing. We are major manufacturers of resins with excellent surface characteristics and physical properties for the truck cap industry (COR54-AA-115 and COR61-AA-610). Our resins can be used with a filled or non filled open molding technique to manufacture truck components.

We manufacture the best in fatigue and freeze/thaw-resistant panel resins for recreational vehicle sidewalls. Choose our panel resins for tractor-trailer liners and exterior walls as well.

Our SMC and BMC resins and their low profile/low shrink additives (also made by Interplastic) are widely accepted in automotive component closed mold manufacturing. From high heat distortion for paint line resistance to highly competitive cost situations, we have your resin solution.

Gel Coats
Interplastic's Gel Coal and Colorant Group offers several gel coat systems including isophthalic, iso/NPG®, and general purpose gel coats in a wide variety of heavy metal-free colors. These products are easy to apply, repair, maintain, and exhibit excellent chalking, crazing and weather resistance.

Our low VOC gel coats deliver outstanding product performance and compliance with Southern California's South Coast Air Quality Management District's Rule 1162. The low VOC, pigmented gel coats have a 25 - 33% decrease in styrene levels over typical pigmented gel coats and have a weight loss below 60 grams per square meter. This satisfies two points of compliance with Rule 1162; only one is required. The low VOC gel coat product line is available in a full array of colors.

The Thermoset Resins Division formulates sanding primer gel coats that are ideal for truck cab parts, camper shells and automotive aftermarket automotive parts. These gel coats readily accept post-finishing. Conductive sanding primers are also available for manufacturers who will electrostatically apply final coatings.

Interplastic Corporation's CoREZYN B-853BV-LMM black vinyl ester gel coat provides a superior osmotic barrier and is sprayed on after the gel coat. It can also be sprayed on before the gel coat has fully cured. This speeds up the entire production process. It also has very good tensile elongation, impact resistance and provides excellent resistance to chemical attack and cracking. These characteristics extend product life.

Many customers have found that the barrier gel coat acts as an excellent print barrier to improve part cosmetics.

Colorants
C Series polyester-based colorants are made with the highest quality pigments formulated for use with polyester resin systems. These smooth pigment pastes quickly blend and distribute evenly when stirred into the liquid resin. Opacity is obtained at various colorant levels, depending on the part's thickness and color. All CoREZYN brand standard colorants are formulated without heavy metal pigments.

Putties
CoREZYN brand polyester bonding putties are compounded in several resin bases to meet specific requirements. They are formulated to form contours to reinforce FRP parts and for inter-laminate bonding. The putties offer excellent adhesion and shear strength.
