2007 Scholars Winners

Our Scholars continue to achieve an amazing balance of high academic standards, community service, and leadership. This year’s winners are National Honors Society members, class valedictorians, athletes, scientists, and musicians. Their service and leadership experiences include the Humane Society, Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE), Big Brother Big Sister, 4-H, and mission work. In their communities they have helped develop library programs and Habitat for Humanity homes, coached youth sports, and volunteered in their churches. Clearly these winners continue to be some of the “best of the best” students in America and we are proud to honor them as 2007 Scholars.

Each winner receives a $2,000 scholarship, intended to help cover the costs of tuition, books and/or supplies. The annual awards are given to graduating high school seniors in pursuit of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university. The emphasis on excellence in academic and extracurricular activities, personal merit, and background are clearly recognized in each winner. The scholarships are open to children and grandchildren of ACMA member companies and their employees.
